The Challenges of Tomorrow - Artificial Intelligence

When thinking about this assignment, I immediately knew I wanted to talk about Emotional Intelligence. It's what I know and am most comfortable with but then I remembered when a colleague sent an invitation to the high schoolers about joining an after-school workshop her husband was giving on coding. So many students showed up that they had to move the event to the auditorium. Another time, for the Design class middle school students, my husband gave a presentation about video game processing and students talked about it for weeks. This tells me that students want more choices in what they learn, which in turn will lead to higher student engagement.

So, in the end, I decided to challenge myself and talk about something I know very little about, Artificial Intelligence. I think this is a good start to begin thinking about the 21st century skills that students today should be learning in order to prepare for the jobs of the future.
